Jewel Hamrick IV

Chief Executive Officer | Head of Development

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Jewel Hamrick IV wrote his first screenplay at the age of 16. The screenplay later became his first film, BASH: The Movie, which was released in January 2016. The project solidified his admission to the Savannah College of Art Design, where he learned to excel in his craft and talent as a writer, producer, director, and overall artist/designer. In November 2019, He relaunched his production company, IV Vision, with the release of his fifth film, Exposure. The film was screened to select audiences on a 3-city tour during the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2021, Jewel returned to SCAD for his MFA in Film and Television. Jewel interned as a Programming and Production Intern at TVOne and will be rebasing to Los Angeles after completing his courses at SCAD in November 2022. He plans to focus his journey within the industry on programming and development to bring life to stories like Exposed: Back to Black.

Sarah McVicker

Executive Producer | Head of Talent

Sarah Elizabeth McVicker is a writer-producer from Dallas, TX. She has produced several short films and is currently developing a scripted podcast highlighting unknown Black figures' lives. Her main goal with her work is to fuse together education and entertainment, especially for growing minds. Throughout her career, she has focused on themes that celebrate love and spirituality with the hope that it inspires others to live their truth. She currently works as a production coordinator with GAC Media.

Alexis Broome

Executive Producer | Head of Production

Alexis Broome is a graduating senior from the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying film and television. Within her final year, she produced various projects and established herself immensely in the art department with filmmakers such as Julie Dash. Her goal is to continue to help tell stories that enhance the positivity in her community and other minority groups.

Jayda Cardoza

Head of Post Production

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design amidst the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Jayda moved to the flourishing film scene in Atlanta, gaining the opportunity to work as a post-production assistant for Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home. She then moved to Los Angeles to continue her work at Marvel as an Assistant Editor for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Additionally, Jayda collaborates with former classmates such as Rebecca "Becx" Williams on shorts such as "Out of Many" and Jewel IV on the episodic World of Exposure concept to sharpen her editing skills and style.

Sydney Wade

Producer | Artist | Head of Sound Design

Sydney Wade, also known as Soul Sydonna, graduated from SCAD with a BFA in Sound Design with a minor in Music Production. Since graduating, she has worked to develop sound engineering, mixing, and music production skills. With a newly acquired skill set, she has launched a start-up record label with a few former classmates called Arttemis Entertainment. An art collective that embraces thinking outside the box and making our way.

David “Somnia” Rhodes

Composer | Producer | Artist

David Rhodes, also known as Somnia, is a composer, producer, and artist based in Atlanta, GA. He released his first project, Letters in 2018. He followed up with Time After during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through his time at IV Vision, he has composed and produced soundtracks for Exposure (2020) and ZIR (2021). David is committed to sharing this talents through musical score and composition within IV Vision projects, while continuing to producing his own music as Somnia.

Nia Dawson

Producer | Composer | Head of Music

Nia R. Dawson can best be described as a multidisciplinary artist in a storytelling love triangle. Passionate about music production. film sound, and digital design, she strives to find the point where the aural and visual collide when shaping a narrative. In addition to providing music for Exposure, she is currently serving as Supervising Sound Editor for dramatic short, Cutthroat (May 2020), and Music Editor for the stop motion animated short Arthouse (May 2020)

Candace MortierSound Designer | Foley ArtistCandace Mortier is a  sound designer from Nassau, The Bahamas. She has worked on numerous live action shorts, animated shorts and even ad campaigns throughout her time in school, and continues to do freelance work. She absolutely loves doing foley work for most of her films, but specializes in sound effects editing and recording. At IV Vision, Candace has done sound effects and foley design for Exposure and continues to share her talents as a sound designer in which ever capacity she is needed.
