Jewel Hamrick IV

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Jewel Hamrick IV wrote his first screenplay at the age of 16. The screenplay later became his first film, BASH: The Movie, which was released in January 2016. The project solidified his admission to the Savannah College of Art Design, where he learned to excel in his craft and talent as a writer, producer, director, and overall artist/designer. In November 2019, He relaunched his production company, IV Vision, with the release of his fifth film, Exposure. The film was screened to select audiences on a 3-city tour during the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2021, Jewel returned to SCAD for his MFA in Film and Television. Jewel interned as a Programming and Production Intern at TVOne and will be rebasing to Los Angeles after completing his courses at SCAD in November 2022. He plans to focus his journey within the industry on programming and development to bring life to stories like Exposed: Back to Black.
