Marcus Carter
Shakeem Cota Lewis hails from Miami, Florida. Shakeem’s journey in performance started while young— elementary more specifically. Expressing himself in dance, acting, singing, Shakeem always puts all of his energy in everything he does and takes it incredibly seriously. Shakeem thanks his family for their support on his journey through life as well as the Exposure team for choosing him to be a part of this amazing and vulnerable project. He hopes to continue his craft in performance while aiming to inspire and enthrall people with a like passion so they too will know what it feels like to be EXPOSED!
Levi
Since the age of 10, Khalil has performed in numerous stage plays across Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. He has won several regional theater/drama awards, including outstanding cast member (2 years in a row) in the 3AAA Regional One-Act Theater competition, and crowned the Best Actor in South Florida (2019) at the Acting Out theater competition in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He was a star theater student in high school and college. He has starred in award-winning short film Reverie (2019) as Darrell. The film has since been screened in various film festivals around the world including India, United Kingdom, Los Angeles, and PBS South Florida. Other notable credentials include a BS in Psychology, and currently pursuing MS in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Chelsea
Amari Jones was born on January 11, 2000, in Atlanta, GA. Performing since she was three years old, she has trained with multiple dance studios, such as Dazz With Jazz, Ikonic Dance Atlanta, Dance Maker’s of Atlanta, and Dance 411. With this, she has specialized in multiple dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop; securing a scholarship from “My Broadway Dreams” to travel to New York and to continue to excel in her skillset. Jones continues her studies at the Savannah College of Art & Design for her bachelor's in Performing Arts.
Lorenzo is a freelance actor and model, based in Augusta, GA. Brown has starred in multiple productions such as “Black Lightning” (2019), “Affirmation” (2019), “the wrong house” (2019), “For My Man” (2020), and now exposure. Brown continues his passion for acting and modeling in Atlanta, GA.

Writer | Executive Producer | Director
Jewel is a writer, producer, director from Houston, TX, based in Savannah, GA. From ideation to execution, he aims to bring authentic takes of life to the screen. In 2016, he was accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving his BA in Film and Television in May 2020. Skilled mostly in development and pre-production, he has 4 independent films under his company, IV Vision, LLC. Jewel looks forward to expanding in the realm of content development for film and television within the industry, along with developing content under IV Vision.
Executive Producer | Assistant Director
Kaitlyn is a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a focus on producing. She produces films about real life and real people while discovering and practicing environmentally friendly alternatives. With finding a newfound niche as an environmental steward, she advocates and educates on the importance of practicing sustainability on sets and at home.
Producer
Joshua Brooks Cliatt is a 26-year-old second-year graduate student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is majoring in the Film & Television program emphasizing in producing, directing, and screenwriting. Joshua has had the liberty to produce 16 short films in the program and 3 in the Atlanta-Area as an independent indie producer, and directed 5 short films so far, and plans to direct more. Joshua has a goal of working with many indie filmmakers in Atlanta, as well as work his way into Union Hollywood productions, that will aide him in becoming an Executive Producer. He aims to be a producer not only in Atlanta but in Los Angeles, as well as in New York. He is excited and ready to work towards his goals and help other filmmakers make their vision a reality.
Line Producer | Locations Manager
Kareem McMichael is an actor, filmmaker, and documentarian. He has produced short films in a variety of genres and documentaries with social justice themes. He received his B.A. from Savannah State University in Broadcast Journalism and a certification in production from the Georgia Film Academy. He has worked for the ABC, Fox, and CBS news affiliates in Savannah, GA. In 2017 he along with the Georgia Film Academy program was recognized at the Georgia State Capitol in House Resolution 661 for his work on the Savannah Feed the Hungry documentary. He directed the award-winning short films ‘Best Friends’ and ‘MLK JR. BLVD’. He has served on the Savannah Film Commission and is currently serving on the Savannah Cultural Affairs Commission. He is also on the Board of Governors for the Southeast Emmy National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) (2019-2021). He is the founder and co-director of the SSU Indie Film Festival, which helps immerse SSU students within the film industry in Georgia.

Nick is an actor and producer based in the southeast, with a love for developing content that uses humor and relevance to bring light to situations. He is thankful for the opportunity to work on Exposure, a beautiful film that has the potential to impact a lot of people.
Director of Photography
Just at the age of 21, Hacker is a member of the I.A.T.S.E union along the southeast coast and has been on numerous projects, such as The Bachelor: Winter Games, Florida Girls, Outer Banks, and Ford vs. Ferrari. Hacker utilizes his eye for cinematography, and developed skillset in lighting and shot design to tell Jewel's story.
Art Director
Alice Aguiar is a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a degree in Film and Television and a minor in Motion Graphic Design. While Exposure may have not been her first film, it was her first time as an art director. Alice plans on continuing her passion for film and television in Atlanta, GA.
Creative Director / Photographer
Emerald Arguelles is an internationally recognized fine art photographer based in Savannah, Georgia. She takes pride in conveying black people of various walks of life in the true essence of who they are. Emerald draws influences from anime, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Nakeya Brown. She is currently studying at Savannah College of Art and Design. Emerald has had her works exhibited in Italy, Canada, Georgia, and New York.
Lead Editor
With an eventful college career coming to an end, Jayda plans on checking out the flourishing film scene within Atlanta; hoping to gain more experience at a post-production house. She’s currently editing one of her senior films, “Out of Many” and will be using that along with “EXPOSURE” to showcase her editing skills and style.
Assistant Editor
Spencer was raised in Olympia, Washington, and is in his senior year at the Savannah College of Art. He enjoys working on projects that showcase communities rarely represented in the mainstream. Some things he misses from home are his family, his chickens, and the farmers market.
Post Sound Supervisor
Sydney Wade is a recent graduate sound design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a degree in sound design. As an artist, she views music as a way to navigate through life and tap into the emotions we understand but can’t easily express. She works as an intern at Halie Cush Records in Charlotte, NC. Through her music, she hopes to spread love and understanding.
Sound Designer / Composer
Nia R. Dawson can best be described as a multidisciplinary artist in a storytelling love triangle. Passionate about music production, film sound, and digital design, she strives to find the point where the aural and visual collide when shaping a narrative. In addition to providing music for Exposure, she is currently serving as Supervising Sound Editor for the dramatic short, Cutthroat (May 2020), and Music Editor for the stop motion animated short Arthouse (May 2020).
Wardrobe Stylist
Hannah Stanley is a recent graduate from Prairie View A&M University majoring in Agriculture with a concentration in Animal Science. Her "side hustle" as a stylist is a newfound talent she thoroughly enjoys. Fashion, wardrobe styling, and etc. Hannah can do it all! She is looking to further her education in Animal Science in graduate school at Stephen F. Austin University this upcoming Fall!
Production Assistant
JeJuan is a mass communications major at Prairie View A&M University, minoring in music. Beyond his studies, he enjoys showcasing his singing, dancing, and acting abilities. Jennings has experience in screenwriting, camera operations, and event promotion. After graduation JeJuan plans to begin his work in the entertainment industry to make his mark.
Hair Stylist
Miss Randolph is a fashion design major at Savannah College of Art and Design. Making garments is one of her skills, amongst knowledge of hair, makeup, and even cooking. For the future, she plans on working in the industry as a clothing designer or a pattern maker.
Makeup Artist
A sophomore at the Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in film and television. Broome has worked on several sets as a makeup artist, most recently for the Coca Cola Regal collegiate commercial competition. She hopes to establish herself further at SCAD and let her passions guide her.
